Imposition Wizard 3.6.2 beta

This is a second beta of 3.6 and comes with a serious re–work of the “Source” panel on the right (and more).

Source Panel

The first panel on the right is now “Preprocessors”. Everything that was there is gone… to preprocessors. This includes trim box override, page scaling, information etc.

All these things are now preprocessing blocks that you can combine in any order to adjust the file the way you want.

Best of all, your current presets are automatically converted, so nothing should be broken (but always do backups).

Hot Folders

Hot Folders got two new options. First is the optional regular expressions for source file mask, so you have more flexibility on what to impose.

The second option is the support of “buddy–presets” which might be handy in automated hot folders scenario. Here’s the idea: you put a filename.pdf file into a hot folder and put a preset named filename.pdf.iwPreset nearby. If the option is enabled, Imposition Wizard will use that preset for imposition instead of the one you specified for this folder.

Other Changes

Here’s the list of other small changes and improvements in this update:

Collating marks were moved to the Marks panel;
Collating marks got optional numbers;
Collating marks were slightly changed overall for better visibility;
Perforation marks are now optionally flipped on backs in duplex mode;
Preview zooming was improved;
Presets panel warns if you want to save or delete a preset.
